Relax and Renew! Restorative yoga is a gentle practice that utilizes props such as bolsters, blocks, yoga straps and eye pillows. Each pose is designed to allow the practitioner to be fully supported in comfort and ease. Simple breathing techniques lead into each pose and help cultivate equanimity. This class will focus on seated, reclining and passive postures leading the mind into stillness while allowing the body to unwind tension and restore its vital energy.
This class is for both the novice and experienced practitioner. This quiet practice sharpens intuition, strengthens our resolve, and cultivates compassion for ourselves as well as for others. Yin Yoga targets connective tissue which responds to longer held passive poses in a unique way, allowing greater freedom in the hips and shoulders. Yin Yoga is also a must for anyone interested in developing a sitting meditation practice.
This class will focus on chronically tight areas of the body: the low back, hamstrings, hips and shoulders, to increase flexibility while easing discomfort and tightness. Especially great for athletes—runners, bikers, golfers, skaters, tennis players and any body that may be strong, yet tight and stiff from the more aggressive forms of exercise. This class is also wonderful for the computer jockey whose body is tightening from very little movement in the day, and is open to both men and women.
This class is for those of who suffer from past injuries or stiffness. It is for the post 30’s crowd, designed to address tightness or discomforts that many of us encounter as we age. Props and pose modifications are used so that each student can achieve maximum benefit from each pose.

An advanced form of vinyasa for experienced students - knowledge of A and B series Sun Salutations are necessary to participate. Not an appropriate class for beginners.

Designed to tone, stretch, and strengthen, as well as regenerate and heal damaged or aging muscle fibers, this unique program is focused on keeping you strong, healthy and active. Learn the nuts and bolts of human movement and anatomy in this challenging but accessible practice that's not just for Yogis!
The interplay of breath and movement makes this class dynamic and challenging. Sun salutations link yoga postures in a continuous dance, leaving the body and mind refreshed and clear. Vinyasa Flow becomes a moving meditation with consistent practice.
NOTE: Familiarity with A and B sun salutations of a basic yoga practice is necessary for this practice.
This class moves more slowly than a vinyasa class in its focus on form, alignment, and breathing techniques. Classic yoga poses are explored to give you the ability to practice yoga safely and mindfully in any context.
