Core Flow - Levels 2 & 3
CORE FLOW
Yoga Flow infused with multi-disciplinary techniques to bring balance to, and from the core. This class will work the whole body. Special emphasis on the body's center will develop strength and suppleness. The development of the core is an essential components of an effective yoga practice. Releasing links of tension and tightness along the spine will be addressed as well. Joints will stabilize and gain more coherent mobility. Along with Pilates inspired movements, classical yoga postures focus on the core to build strength and stability. The incorporation of pranayama, bandha and kriya will promote pliability.
Vinyasa Levels 2 & 3
VINYASA
Vinyasa also known as Flow or Power Yoga
"Movement Breathing System"; Vinyasa includes sun salutations that produce internal heat which increases circulation. Postures are linked through a choreographed sequence that delivers a holistic full body workout. The interplay of breath and movement cleanses and detoxifies the body, clears the mind and refreshes the spirit
Power Yoga Levels 2 & 3
POWER- HEATED ROOM
Within the context of the Vinyasa style this is a challenging class which includes Inversions. There is an emphasis on neck and shoulder mobility. Marta incorporates principles of compassion, wisdom and karma in her teaching. Room is heated.
Tri Yoga - All Level and Level 2 & 3 classes
TRI YOGA
Founded by Kali Ray, also known as Kaliji. This Vinyasa (flowing) hatha yoga system harmonizes yoga postures with the trinity of breath, concentration and focus. Poses are practiced in a relaxed and flowing manner. Increased knowledge of posture, strength, flexibility and control of breath is emphasized. Wave like spinal movements increases suppleness of the vertebrae while deepening core strength so one can experience more refined alignment of postures as well as the alignment of movement.

HATHA FLOW
This class is designed to reduce the stress of daily life for all levels of students. Strength, mobility and stability are achieved through correct postural alignment determined by the student’s individual needs.
Stiff Guys / Girls Yoga - Level 1 & 2
STIFF GUYS / GIRLS YOGA
Relieve stiff muscles; improve coordination, strength and flexibility in chronically tight areas of the body. Each class addresses the quadriceps, hamstrings, hips, shoulders and the muscle groups in the back. Moving at a mindful pace, enough time is spent in each posture to experience its benefits. Appropriate for all levels, particularly athletes and beginners.

YTU us an integrated system derived from classical yoga and physical therapy rehabilitation techniques. Yoga Tune Up will expand your flexibility and improve your strength. Innovative sequencing regenerates and heals muscle tissues while toning and stretching. This class is challenging but accessible to all levels. Yoga Tune-Up ©complements and supports your stronger yoga practice as well as other athletic routines.
Yin Yoga - All Levels
YIN YOGA
Yin yoga is a meditative, healing practice using passive, long-held floor poses. Connective tissues, fascia, joints, ligaments and bones receive gentle, low load stress. The poses are held between 2-5 minutes and the muscles stay passive in order to pass the stress on to the deeper tissues. Each Yin pose is an opportunity to go inward and find an appropriate balance of effort and ease. It is a wonderful complement to an active (Yang) practice and a much needed tool for anyone who needs to unwind a tight body, mind or heart. Yin is suitable for all levels, including beginners.
Restorative Yoga - All Levels
RESTORATIVE
Restorative yoga is a method for attaining deep relaxation, using various props to support the body and melt into the postures requiring little, if any, muscular strength. This softening allows students to hold poses for a greater length of time and facilitates a physiological shift to deep restfulness, calm abiding and well-being. Through thoughtfully sequenced supported postures, breath work and meditation, restorative yoga helps manage the effects of illness and stress, relieve pain and attain peace of mind. This class is appropriate for all abilities and levels of health, and no prior yoga experience is needed.
Intro to Yoga Series
INTRO TO YOGA
This series if for absolute beginners. This four-week series is designed to take the mystery out of the yoga practice. You will learn the fundamentals of basic breathing techniques, form and alignment, and, of course deep relaxation. These four sessions will prepare you to attend on-going classes. Pre-register at 289-9642(yoga) or on-line for this series. Intro to yoga is a special 4-week series. No drop-ins unless pre-approved by the instructor. Pre registration is required.
NOTE: Intro To Yoga 2 hour workshops are offered occasionally throughout the year. Dates will be announced on the website as they are scheduled.
Y12SR
Y12SR (Yoga and 12 Step Recovery)
This 2 hour class is specifically designed for people in recovery from substances or behaviors. The first hour is a topic discussion meeting in the style of 12 Step anonymous meetings. It is followed by a one hour hatha yoga practice that is developed from and for the themes discussed during the meeting. The yoga class is taught by Kyczy Hawk. All levels, including beginners, are invited and will easily find their "place on the mat". If you are in recovery or are in a relationship with someone who is or should be in recovery - this class is for you.
Private Classes
PRIVATE INSTRUCTION
One on one guidance can be helpful for a variety of reasons. This can tune up or refine an existing practice. It can jump start a new practice or any level of beginner. A private class can address physical limitations due to injuries or stress. Private instruction can take the form of mentoring and consultation for yoga teachers.
