About the Studio
Founded in 1996 by Kent Bond, Willow Glen Yoga is a community-based studio dedicated to creating a safe haven for both the novice and the experienced practitioner in the effort of cultivating health and ease in the body and mind. The focus of the studio is on fitting the practice to the student, not the student to the practice.

About Kent Bond
Kent Bond has been practicing and teaching yoga for over 20 years. He began his yoga practice to find relief from chronic low back pain. Kent credits his current health on what he terms yoga’s value as slow surgery; albeit a less invasive way to heal. Yoga has been a tool that eradicated pain and restructured his body as he practiced with focused determination.
His in depth studies with Ganga White and Tracey Rich of the White Lotus Foundation have been the foundation of his teaching philosophy. Kent’s evolutionary approach to yoga integrates breath and bio-mechanical alignment with the concepts of ahimsa “non violence” and chikitsa “therapy”.
Kent believes yoga’s true value lies in its therapeutic nature. A consistent practice heals the body-mind while helping us face the day to day challenges of life. He believes yoga can reveal knowledge that lies in the hearts of all compassionate individuals and uses his practice as an inquiry into nature, life, relationship, art and spirituality.
Kent has led teacher trainings at the White Lotus Foundation since 2000.
In 2007 Kent led Taiwan’s first ever yoga teacher training in Tai Pei at Space Yoga. Kent continues to study anatomy and has been enthusiastically teaching Yoga Tune Up(c) classes and workshops at Willow Glen Yoga since 2010. Extreme athletes as well as individuals who had never imagined yoga could help them are benefiting from this method.
Since 2012 he has co- led S.O.A.R. ™ trainings [Success Over Addiction and Relapse] with Kyczy Hawk.
Kent holds the title Acharya as well as advanced teaching degrees from several lineages and master teachers of yoga. He has a masters degree in fine art and paints.
For 17 years Kent has directed WGYoga, a cutting edge center presenting yoga as a universal language that creates potential for personal growth while cultivating balance , strength and clarity on and off the mat.
